La noticia se dio oficialmente el 12 de Agosto del 2009, cuando la cadena AMC cogió los derechos para producir una miniserie de la popular saga de comics The Walking Dead y al fin despues de una agobiante espera se han mostrado las primeras imágenes de la que promete ser una de las adaptaciones más esperadas de este año tanto por los seguidores del comic como por los miles de fans de los muertos vivientes. ¿Esta será la primera serie de tv sobre zombies? No lo sé. Pero hagamos un poco de historia sobre The Walking Dead, sobre todo para los que no han tenido el placer de darle una ojeada a sus sangrientas páginas. En el interior de la entrada más detalles de la filmación y un video con Frank Darabont (Director y Productor de la serie)...
Rick Grimes es un oficial de policía en Kentocky que tras ser herido en un tiroteo despierta en una cama de hospital solo para descubrir que el mundo se a llenado de muertos vivientes. Ahora deberá reunir fuerzas de donde sea y buscar a su familia que se esconden junto a un grupo de sobrevivientes a las afueras de Atlanta, claro que no estará solo en su travesía pues se topará con muchos otros no infectados, que en algunos casos no estarán de su lado.
La historia que aún continua publicandose se a compilado en 9 tomos que abarcan hasta el capítulo 54 y por supuesto la atrapante historia de Kirkman y el dibujo en blanco y negro de Tony Moore y Charlie Adlard han reunido hasta la fecha incontables seguidores.
La Marcha de los zombies en 6 capítulos
Hasta el momento la cadena de TV encargada del proyecto zombie a confirmado que la adaptación contará con 6 episodios, claro que esto podría variar dependiendo de la acogida que tenga en tierras gringas, solo esperemos que no tenga el funesto final de Flashforward (R.I.P) El elenco contará con Andrew Lincoln ("Love Actually"), Jon Bernthal ("Eastwick"), Sarah Wayne Callies ("Prison Break"), Linds Edwards, Steven Yeun, entre otros. El gran estreno se proyecta para Octubre de este año ¿Valdrá la pena la espera? ¿Se profanará otro buen comic?, mientras esperamos respuestas a estas y otras interrogantes zombies los dejo con algunas fotos y un video en el que Frank Darabont, director y productor de la serie, cuenta detalles del proyecto y un poco de su influencia George Romero.
